Medicare / DVAClients would be able to access therapy with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) which they can obtain from their General Practitioner. A MHCP entitles a client to 10 psychological counselling sessions in a calendar year. Clients would be able to access therapy with a DVA referral which they can obtain from their General Practitioner. A DVA referral entitles a client to 12 psychological counselling sessions in a DVA cycle.
Workers CompensationClients would be able to obtain psychological counselling in regards to their workers compensation claim if they have a referral from their General Practitioner or it has been noted on the Certificate of Capacity that psychological counselling is required.
PrivateClient are able to pay for psychological counselling themselves without a MHCP or other referral if they wish.
Employee Assistance ProgramVeronica is registered with Access EAP and is able to take referrals for psychological counselling from Access EAP however a client would have to arrange this through Access EAP directly on 1800 818 728 and if Access EAP is the EAP provider for their workplace.
FeesFees are only payable on Medicare referrals and for Private clients and the cost would be dependent on employment or whether the client is on a Centrelink card. Medicare does pay a rebate of $93.35 for each Medicare session. |  |
